Episode 18 – Crim Tats

In Episode 18, we discuss such hot potatoes as Buddhism, evil tattoos, horticultural convicts and we investigate how a lady in India managed to get her toothbrush lodged inside her nose. We also explore the levels of accepted profanity to direct at a toilet as well as the worst places to live in the UK and why Greg plans to fight a TV presenter.

A book on criminals' tatoos, yesterday.

Episode 17 – Paul Mosley

This episode we’re temporarily without Greg at the Blueprint table, and so I drafted in a special guest co-host.

Old friend and singer-songwriter Paul Mosley, who has recently released his second solo album Then I Woke Up & It Was All A Dream, available to buy here, and featuring guest appearances by Misty’s Big Adventure’s Grandmaster Gareth, Miss Carolyn Mark & songstress Sam Brown.

Paul (from Blueprint hometown of Hartlepool, but now residing in That London) launches headfirst into the spirit of the Blueprint Podcast, and takes us on a tour of life in the media, giving us some exclusive scoops on Doctor Who and Sam Brown’s throat operation along the way, and the ever so slightly pointless world of Facebook.

We also get to hear two of Paul’s songs, one from the new album, and one from his first solo release, Fear. We should probably slap a bit of a PG certificate on this one on the grounds of slightly adult themes and innuendo. You should have heard the stuff I cut out.

For some reason, I sound like I’m in a toilet on this one. Sorry about that, we’ll sort it out for next time. Perhaps I simply won’t sit in a toilet.

This episode’s picture is Paul’s new album cover. Greg will be back with us for Episode 18, which will be coming your way very soon. Get well soon, Sam Brown.

New episode imminent

Episode 17 is a bit of a special one, featuring a guest co-host who not only joins in the Blueprint chatter in Greg’s temporary absence, but also provides us with no fewer than two excellent musics.

The new episode should be online at some point this evening (Monday 15th October), so please cool your jets until then.

Cheers

Episode 16 – Arts and Minds

We’re getting increasingly cynical about the worlds of art and science these days. With people claiming that simply hiding in a shopping centre for a bit is a commentary on consumerism, or that a peacock attacking a car is conclusive proof that said peacock is gay, it’s no wonder.

It’s increasingly clear that the boundaries between art and science are decidedly blurred, and both seem to depend purely on belief and preconception as much as they do on merit or credibility. It’s lucky, then, that The Blueprint Podcast is here to shine our somewhat dubious light on things. We’ll keep you right.

Some art, namely Equivalent VIII by Carl Andre. Or 'that one with the bricks', depending on your point of view.

This episode’s picture is of some art.
