Chris Wright and Dave Russell are both natives of the North Eastern English town of Hartlepool. They met whilst at sixth form college, lost touch for years, and then met again.

Both play the guitar, especially Dave, who is very good at it. We record our own amusing jingles and the Blueprint Podcast theme, which is called “Danny’s Ghost” and was written and performed by Chris.

We will write music and jingles for you, too, if you would like us to. Please get in touch if you’d like to talk about that.

Dave is married to his lovely wife, while Chris is divorced and has two children.

Chris Wright grew up around the broadcast media. His father, Alan Wright, was a BBC radio presenter for over 30 years, and during childhood the young Chris spent a great deal of time in radio studios and at outside broadcasts. An added benefit was that Chris was lucky enough to meet many of the biggest British television stars of the day. To see a few scanned autographs, click here.

At the age of 17, Chris became the youngest arts critic in the land, writing weekly reviews on theatre and music for The Northern Echo. Hundreds of Chris’s reviews were published until his own yearning for the limelight took him away to work in entertainment.

With such a background, it was unlikely that the need for security attendant to everyday life would keep his showbiz aspirations fully at bay, and after some time spent practicing, Chris set to work with friend Greg to produce The Blueprint Podcast.

Although Greg left to be replaced by Dave, audiences grew and continue to spread across the globe.
